An LPG cylinder production line is a complete industrial system designed to manufacture liquefied petroleum gas cylinders with high efficiency, consistent quality, and strong safety control. These blanks are then pressed and formed into upper and lower shell parts using hydraulic presses or deep drawing machines. Precision in this stage is critical because the shell shape directly affects the strength and sealing performance of the final cylinder.After forming, the cylinder body undergoes trimming, edge correction, and necking operations. The upper and lower shells are then welded together using automatic circumferential welding equipment. Welding quality is one of the most important factors in LPG cylinder production, so advanced welding systems and strict process parameters are used to ensure uniform seams and strong structural integrity. In many production lines, robotic welding or automatic multi-station welding is applied to improve consistency and reduce manual error.Once welding is completed, the cylinder enters the heat treatment stage. This process removes internal stress caused by forming and welding, improving the overall mechanical properties of the cylinder. After heat treatment, the cylinder is cooled and transferred to cleaning and surface treatment sections. Shot blasting or sandblasting is often used to remove rust, oxide scale, and impurities from the surface, preparing it for coating.The next stage is hydrostatic testing and leak testing. Each cylinder is filled with water and pressurized to check its resistance to deformation and rupture. Leak detection is also performed to ensure that there are no welding defects or gas leakage risks. These tests are essential for meeting safety standards and regulatory requirements. Cylinders that fail inspection are repaired or rejected.After passing the testing stage, the cylinder is painted or powder coated. This not only improves appearance but also provides corrosion resistance and long-term durability. A marking or stamping station is usually included to apply production date, serial number, and specification information. Finally, valves are installed, and the completed cylinders are weighed, inspected, and packaged for storage or shipment.A modern LPG cylinder production line offers several advantages, including high productivity, reduced labor intensity, stable product quality, and improved safety. It can be customized according to output capacity, cylinder size, and automation level. With reliable equipment and strict quality control, the line ensures that every LPG cylinder meets industrial standards and can be used safely in daily life and commercial applications.
